Waxahatchee Performs "Under a Rock" and "Coast to Coast" at Pitchfork's SXSW Party

Katie Crutchfield, aka Waxahatchee, performed at the second of Pitchfork’s SXSW parties at House of Vans at the Mohawk on March 19. Below, watch her play “Under a Rock” (from her forthcoming album Ivy Tripp) and “Coast to Coast” (from 2013′s excellent Cerulean Salt).

Wednesday’s party featured Speedy Ortiz (featuring Hannibal Buress!), Courtney Barnett, Sophie, A. G. Cook, Viet Cong, Shamir, Son Lux, Natalie Prass, Lydia Ainsworth, Torres, and Steve Gunn. 

Thursday’s lineup included both Arcade Fire’s Win Butler (as DJ Windows 98) and Will Butler (doing separate sets), Vince Staples, MigosHundred WatersTitle Fight, Alvvays, Twerps, Untold, Makthaverskan, and Bully. Stay tuned for more video.
