Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo Releasing Another New Album in Japanese

In 2013, Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo teamed up with Scott Murphy of the pop punk band Allister to release an album sung almost entirely in Japanese. Scott & Rivers are back with another new album of Japanese songs this month. This one’s called ニマイメ. The album is out April 12 via Sony Music Japan International. According to a representative for Cuomo, the album will only be released in Japan. Listen to two new tracks, “FUN IN THE SUN” and “Doo Wop,” below.
