Wilco have recorded a cover of Nick Lowe and Elvis Costello’s “(What’s So Funny ’Bout) Peace, Love, and Understanding” as part of the ongoing Spotify Singles series. They’ve also shared a new recording of the song “If I Ever Was a Child,” originally released on last year’s Schmilco. Both tracks were recorded at Spotify’s studio in New York City. Hear them below. Wilco’s biennial Solid Sound Festival takes place June 23-25. They are currently holding a contest where fans can vote which of the band’s albums they will perform in its entirety during their headlining set.
