Recently, Wilco canceled a May 7 show in Indianapolis, citing disgust over the state’s controversial Religious Freedom Restoration Act. Now that Indiana legislature has amended the act and set up limited protections for Indiana’s LGBT community, Wilco has decided to play the show after all. From the band’s Twitter account:

We consider the changes to Indiana’s RFRA a good first step. Our May 7 show at The Murat is back on. Details: http://t.co/toWXSqCpFM

Wilco also posted a longer note on Facebook. “We’ve been putting on shows with our neighbors in Indiana for more than 20 years and are happy to continue that at the Murat in May,” they wrote. “We’ll also donate a portion of the proceeds from this show to organizations fighting to build on the progress we hope this change makes in Indiana and beyond.”

The band are playing this year’s Pitchfork Music Festival at Union Park in Chicago. Find their tour itinerary here.
