Wolf Eyes Perform "Choking Flies" in Pitchfork and GoPro's Disorienting GP4K Video

Pitchfork and GoPro have shared the newest installment of GP4K, the video series captured exclusively with the GoPro HERO4 Black. Following videos featuring Mac MillerNeon IndianFrankie Cosmos, Metz, and Prince Rama, it’s the sixth in a series of eight videos curated and produced by Pitchfork that reimagine the way GoPros are used in the context of live music.

In the latest and arguably most disorienting installment of the series to date, Wolf Eyes and M.U.G. (the Michigan Underground Group) team up to perform “Choking Flies” from the 2013 album No Answer : Lower Floors. The session was filmed at Union Pool in Brooklyn during Wolf Eyes’ three-day residency at the venue. Directed and edited by Jim Larson, the video showcases the band’s hypnotic and intense live show using GoPros on gimbals, mic mounts, and a rotating speaker.
