Yo La Tengo Cause the Apocalypse in Video for Cure Cover "Friday I’m in Love"

Yo La Tengo bring on the apocalypse in their new video for their cover of the Cure‘s “Friday I’m in Love”, which appears on their forthcoming miscellania collection Stuff Like That There. Directed by Jason Woliner, the wacky video sees the band’s Georgia Hubley singing the song as she strolls around, nonchalantly heralding a crushing, cataclysmic rain of hearts. Some survivors of the carnage live to tell the tale. Check it out below.

Stuff Like That There is due out August 28 via Matador.
