This morning, Yo La Tengo were NPR “Morning Edition”‘s first ever live house band. Easing transitions between segments on talking cats, birdsong, and plunging stock markets, they played songs including “Tom Courtenay”, “Green Arrow”, and “Ohm”. They also discussed their forthcoming album Stuff Like That There. Hear some excerpts from the show below, and listen to the full episode here.
