On Saturday, iconic Manhattan record store Other Music closed its doors after more than 20 years in the business. Last night, the store held a final celebration with instrumental duo 75 Dollar Bill. After that, a bigger party was held at the Bowery Ballroom, where Yo La Tengo, Sharon Van Etten, Bill Callahan, Frankie Cosmos, Julianna Barwick, and more. Yoko Ono made a surprise appearance, performing with Yo La Tengo. The Tallest Man on Earth wasn’t on the bill, but he jumped on stage and performed a duet with Sharon Van Etten during the show.
