Cat Power, aka Chan Marshall, is currently wrapping up the latest leg of her world tour. Recently, she did a two-night stint at Babylon, in Istanbul, Turkey (Marshall’s most recent album, Sun, was released in 2012). Last night, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” welcomed Lorde. In addition to performing her Hunger Games: Mockingjay Pt. 1 single “Yellow Flicker Beat”, she sat down for an interview with Jimmy.  She talked about the early days of her career when she was told that her music wasn’t going to work on the radio, which spurred her decision to post her stuff on SoundCloud.
