Justin Timberlake has been sued by Cirque du Soleil over his 20/20 Experience song “Don’t Hold the Wall,” Variety reports. The lawsuit asserts that Timbaland (who produced Timberlake’s track) sampled “Steel Dream” (a song from the show’s stage production and 1997 album Quidam) without Cirque’s permission. In addition to Timberlake and Timbaland, Cirque du Soleil names co-writers J-Roc and James Fauntleroy, as well as Sony Entertainment, Universal Music, and WB Music Corp as defendants in the suit, which is seeking $800,000...
