TDE Hint at 2016 Kendrick Lamar Release

New Technics 1200 Turntables Coming Soon...

Photo via Technics website Last year, Panasonic revealed plans to relaunch its Technics turntable line, which it shelved in 2010 after decades as DJs’ industry standard. In January, the electronics manufacturer unveiled its new Grand Class SL-1200G and limited-edition Grand Class SL-1200GAE at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.  The only question was the price, which What Hi-Fi? reported at the time to be $4,000 for the non-limited model. Teklife Launches Label With DJ Rashad Tr...

Last year, it was reported that footwork crew Teklife would be launching their own label, with a compilation as its maiden release. Today, that project has been properly announced: Afterlife, a collection of fourteen previously-unheard collaborations between the late DJ Rashad and other musicians from the Teklife crew. Arriving April 8, the new release doubles as a tribute to Rashad, with a portion of the profits going to the footwork pioneer’s family.
