Mogwai Get Their Own Skateboard and T-Sh...

Mogwai are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year.  In honor of that milestone, they’ve teamed up with the Edinburgh-based skateboard company Focus to release a limited run of decks and shirts. The decks feature art from Mogwai albums, as you can see above. A portion of the proceeds from each deck will help fund Glasgow Urban Sports’ proposed skate park in Port Eglinton, Glasgow. Todd Terje and Bryan Ferry joined forces last year for “Johnny and Mary”, a cover of the Robert Palmer track. It appeared on Terje’s It’s Album Time and Ferry’s Avonmore. Today, they’ve shared a dramatic, black-and-white video for the song; directed by Brantley Gutierrez and starring British model Eliza Cummings as a sullen girl who’s always on the move, the melancholic visual was filmed at Chateau Marmont and Wolf’s Lair, two Los Angeles landmarks. Kendrick Lamar Does Stunts While Filming...

Photo via Elliott Wilson’s Instagram Over the past week, Kendrick Lamar has been in California been filming the video for his To Pimp a Butterfly track “Alright”. MTV reports that yesterday’s shoot in Los Angeles was very stunt-intensive – Kendrick, suspended by wires, rapped from atop a traffic light.
