After a day of rumors and speculation, Arcade Fire‘s new song, “Everything Now” is now available to hear online. Vinyl 12” copies of the single are being sold at the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona, where Arcade Fire will perform on Saturday night. However, for the first time in the series’ seven years, Adult Swim will stream 52 tracks for free over 52 weeks. Yes, that’s an entire year. Artists participating include Run the Jewels, DOOM ft. Arcade Fire Release New Single “Everythi...

Earlier today, Arcade Fire advised fans to “Stay tuned for Infinite Content,” sparking speculation that new music could be imminent. It has now been revealed that they are selling 12” vinyl copies of their new single “Everything Now” at the merch table at Primavera Sound, where they are set to perform on Saturday. The single is allegedly pressed on orange vinyl and features an instrumental version on the B-side. “Everything Now” is the name of the new song that Arcade Fire Tube previously claimed is due out June 1. Arcade Fire Tease “Everything Now” and “...

Arcade Fire have teased “Infinite Content.” Along with the message “Stay tuned for Infinite Content,” they’ve shared an image of a stylized infinity symbol with a copyright symbol. They’ve used a similar band logo since February. Win Butler also used the phrase “infinite content” during an RBMA lecture. See Arcade Fire’s tweet below. Kurt Vile Covers Lou Reed, Impersonates ...

Longtime “The Best Show” fan Kurt Vile was a guest on last night’s episode, and so was folk-rocker Steve Gunn. Vile performed an old song with new lyrics called “Blue Cheese,” and later, covered Lou Reed’s “Sword of Damocles” (at 3:10:00). Gunn’s performance of “Wildwood” devolved into him singing the chorus of John Mayer’s “Your Body Is a Wonderland.” At one point, Vile started doing an absurd impression of Bob Dylan (circa Blood on the Tracks and Desire). Elsewhere in the episode, Tom Scharpling eggs on Vile to say something “Pitchfork-worthy” and asks him to...
