Weezer and Wavves Announce Collaborative Release
Weezer has announced that they will team up with Wavves for a collaborative release on Nathan Williams’ Ghost Ramp record label. The limited 7” split will include a previously unreleased Weezer song, “Fake Smiles and Nervous Laughter,” and a Wavves cover of Weezer’s “You Gave Your Love To Me Softly.” Pre-orders for the split begins on September 12. A release date has yet to be announced. Weezer shared the release’s artwork and details via their Twitter. You can find those tweets below. Weezer’s most recent album was 2016’s Weezer (White Album) and Wavves’ was 2015’s V.
