Gorillaz have finally joined Instagram. The cartoon band helmed by Jamie Hewlett and Damon Albarn opened an account this morning, posting a band timeline that’s presently moving from 2000 toward today. (It’s also rolling out on their Twitter page.) It comprises a series of videos and stills marking time through their career—see a few below.
In July year, Gorillaz revealed they were planning to record new music that September. Then, footage surfaced of the band working in the studio. This July, Albarn said music should be ready “fairly soon,” before news broke last month that De La Soul and Snoop Dogg had recorded sessions for the album.
