Listen to Yasiin Bey’s (Mos Def) New Album December 99th

After missing their originally stated release date, Dec. 99th, the duo of Yasiin Bey (formerly Mos Def) and the producer Ferrari Sheppard, have finally released their debut album. Tidal subscribers can stream December 99th below; non-subscribers can listen to new song “Blade in the Pocket.” The record, produced entirely by Sheppard, includes the previously released “Local Time,” “NAW,” and “Seaside Panic Room.” 

Last month, Yasiin Bey was granted permission to leave South Africa after being detained in the country for most of 2016. He also announced his final performances in the United States, which will begin later this month.
