Leonard Cohen: Bird on a Wire Gets Theatrical Release

Tony Palmer’s Leonard Cohen documentary Leonard Cohen: Bird on a Wire is getting its first theatrical release, playing for a limited time at Film Forum in New York City from January 18—January 31. The film, which was aired on television in the United Kingdom in 2010, documents Cohen’s European tour in 1972, and includes footage of the singer-songwriter performing in addition to footage of him backstage with his band, on the road, and more.
