Downtown Boys, Flesh World, Field Agent Set For Pitchfork’s Northside Festival Showcase

Pitchfork is happy to announce the details of our showcase at Brooklyn’s Northside Festival 2017. It takes place Friday, June 9 at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn. The lineup includes Downtown Boys, Flesh World, and Field Agent, with a special guest yet to be announced. The 21+ showcase starts at 8pm. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased here beginning Friday, April 14 at 10 a.m. Eastern. 

Downtown Boys’ recent single “Somos Chulas (No Somos Pendejas)” was their first release for Sub Pop. Flesh World is the collaboration of Jess Scott (ex-Brilliant Colors) and Scott Moore (Limp Wrist), who released the excellent The Wild Animals in My Life LP in 2015 through Iron Lung Records. Field Agent is the electronic project of Stephen Lee Clark, formerly the bassist in Deafheaven.

Northside takes place June 7-11 at venues throughout Brooklyn. Other artists announced as additions to the lineup today include Lower Dens (covering ABBA songs), Julia Holter, Lydia Lunch, Destruction Unit, and more. They join previously announced artists Vagabon, William Basinski, Dirty Projectors, Miguel, Kamasi Washington, Thursday, Julia Holter, Girlpool, the Hotelier, Jlin, Lower Dens, Pup, and more.
