J. Cole Teases New Song in New 4 Your Eyez Only HBO Documentary: Watch

Last night, HBO premiered its latest documentary on J. Cole. It’s called 4 Your Eyez Only, and it features Cole’s process of making last year’s album of the same name. In the documentary, Cole teased a new song, in which he ponders the role of religion in the modern world. Watch a clip featuring a snippet of the song below. Prior to the release of 4 Your Eyez Only, Cole released a 40-minute film entitled Eyez. The visual previewed his tracks “Everybody Dies” and “False Prophets.” In January 2016, J. Cole shared his first HBO special based on his 2014 Forest Hills Drive album. Scott Lazer directed all three of the J. Cole films for HBO.
