Basilica SoundScape 2017: Zola Jesus, Priests, Jlin, More

Basilica SoundScape has announced the initial lineup for its 2017 installment. The event takes place at Basilica Hudson’s factory in Hudson, New York from September 15-17. Among the performers are Jlin, Zola Jesus, Priests, Emel Mathlouthi, Bing & Ruth, John Maus, Protomartyr, serpentwithfeet, Thou, Blanck Mass, and Moor Mother. In addition, there will be readings from Darcie Wilder, Eileen Myles, and Patty Schemel, as well as art from Emma Kohlmann, Jesse Draxler, Marianne Vitale, and Naama Tsabar. Check out a GIF with the current lineup below.

Basilica SoundScape is programmed by Basilica Hudson founders and creative directors Melissa Auf der Maur and Tony Stone in collaboration with Brandon Stosuy (former Pitchfork editor and current editor-in-chief of the Creative Independent). In addition, Pitchfork’s own Jenn Pelly is a special guest curator for the 2017 event, and former Pitchfork vice president Michael Renaud is handling visual design.
