Dinosaur Jr. Perform With My Bloody Valentine’s Kevin Shields

This week, Dinosaur Jr. have been performing a residency at New York’s Bowery Ballroom. They’ve been joined by several special guests, including Jeff Tweedy, Henry Rollins, Kurt Vile, Kim Gordon, and Lee Ranaldo. Tonight, they offered the biggest surprise guest yet: My Bloody Valentine‘s Kevin Shields. Watch footage below. Update (12/9, 1:46 a.m. EST): More video has surfaced—watch them perform My Bloody Valentine’s “Thorn” and Neil Young’s “Cortez the Killer” with Vile (via Brooklyn Vegan).

Tonight’s show reportedly also featured another appearance from Vile and a Stooges cover with Mike Watt.
