Fresh off his appearance on “The Best Show,” Kurt Vile was the musical guest on this morning’s episode of “CBS This Morning: Saturday.” He sat down for a conversation with Anthony Mason, where he talked about how he got started writing songs on banjo, “those sweet bubblegum harmonies” on “Pretty Pimpin’,” getting recognized in public now that his record’s charting, his friendship and working relationship with the War on Drugs’ Adam Granduciel, and taking his family on tour. Then, he and the Violators performed three songs from b’lieve i’m goin’ down: “Pretty Pimpin,” “Dust Bunnies,” and “I’m an Outlaw.” Watch it all happen below.
