RZA and Atari to Collaborate on New Album

RZA has announced a new album in collaboration with iconic video game company Atari. The project will feature tracks “inspired by the sounds of Atari game music,” according to Billboard“I’m so excited to work on these iconic games to deliver what I believe will be one of my best albums,” RZA said in a statement. “I am going to invite some of my friends to join me and it will be Game On with the first beat!” This marks the second time the Wu-Tang head has worked with Atari; in 2006, RZA provided voice-over for the Atari title Marc Eckō’s Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure. Most recently, RZA announced Anything But Wordsthe debut album from Banks & Steelz, his project with Interpol’s Paul Banks.
