Sampha Shares New Track “Blood on Me,” A...

Earlier this year, Sampha re-surfaced with his single “Timmy’s Prayer.” He also appeared on Kanye West’s latest addition to The Life of Pablo, “Saint Pablo,” as well as Frank Ocean’s visual album Endless on a song called “Alabama.” Today, he’s released another new song, which will appear on his forthcoming debut LP, Process. It’s called “Blood on Me,” and it’s out via Young Turks. Sampha produced the song, along with Rodaidh McDonald. Listen to the track and see the single artwork below. Flume Announces New Skin Companion EP...

Earlier this year, Flume released his new album Skin. The record featured Beck, Vince Staples, Tove Lo, and more. Flume has now announced the first Skin Companion EP. It includes four tracks of “music that was written around the same time” as the album. The new EP is out as a 12” vinyl on November 25 via Mom + Pop. Michel’le Biopic Surviving Compton: Dre,...

This October, Lifetime will air a biopic about Michel’le, the R&B singer who was engaged to Dr. Dre and had a son with him. It’s called Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Me, and stars Rhyon Nicole Brown (“Lincoln Heights”) as Michel’le, Curtis Hamilton as Dre, and Jamie Kennedy as N.W.A. manager Jerry Heller. R. Marcos Taylor will play Suge Knight, as he did in last year’s Straight Outta Compton. A new promo video for Surviving Compton teases, “Behind the men who changed hip-hop is the woman who knows the truth,” and finds Brown tearing a Parental Advisory sticker...

Earlier this year, James Blake announced a tour behind his new album The Colour in Anything. Today, he’s revealed that Vince Staples and Moses Sumney will join him for select dates on the U.S. leg of the tour. Check out the upcoming dates below.
