The xx's Label Accuses Hugo Boss of Plagiarism

Earlier this year, fashion label Hugo Boss began a new ad campaign to score a sexily-produced commercial in which a man drives around in sunglasses. The soundtrack to the ad sounds just like the xx‘s “Intro”, except… it isn’t.

This was noticed by the xx’s label, Young Turks, who accused Hugo Boss of using “a poorly designed fake”:

The label also called the seeming ripoff “pretty awful” and “so gross,” and have been retweeting fans pointing out the similarities.
