St. Vincent Explains "Teenage Talk" on "Fallon"

Earlier this week, St. Vincent, aka Annie Clark, appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” to perform a new song called “Teenage Talk” (which was written for HBO’s “Girls”). Now, the show has shared a short video taken backstage where Clark explains how the song came together. You can watch it below. 

Clark wrote the song about her three high school best friends from Dallas, Texas, where she grew up. “We were outsiders and we had to find our way through the malaise of suburban Texas childhood,” she said.
