Chromatics Ready "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" Maxi-Single, Share "Girls Just Wanna Have Some"

Chromatics recently soundtracked a MANGO ad featuring Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne with their cover of Cyndi Lauper‘s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”. Tomorrow, they’ll release a maxi-single featuring seven variations of that cover. One of them is called “Girls Just Wanna Have Some” — below, check out its video, featuring Ruth Radelet at the Santa Monica Pier. Another, “Girls Just Wanna Have Dub”, is also streaming – listen below.

The video is Chromatics’ first to be credited to their own Johnny Jewel. Here’s an industry secret, though: Alberto Rossini, the man behind every Italians Do It Better video, is Johnny Jewel himself!

It’s still unclear when, exactly, their new album Dear Tommy will arrive.
