”Free Bird” is screamed at least once at every concert, regardless of who’s performing. Apparently, at their show on Thursday night at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, Bob Dylan and his band took the request very seriously. They closed their set with a cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s southern rock classic, “Free Bird.” You can watch footage of this unprecedented cover below. Dylan released a new record earlier in the year titled Fallen Angels. He’ll be performing at Desert Trip later this year, a mega-concert with Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Roger Waters, and the Who. Thanks Mack White for the tip.
