Grandaddy: Last Place [30th Century] 

Last Place is the first new album from Grandaddy in a decade. The follow-up to 2006’s Just Like the Fambly Cat was produced by frontman Jason Lytle. Check out the video for “Way We Won’t,” starring Jason Ritter of “Parenthood.”

Ronald Bruner Jr.: Triumph [World Galaxy/Alpha Pup]

Grammy-winning drummer Ronald Bruner Jr. has finally set out on his own with his debut album, Triumph. The album was put together with his brothers Stephen “Thundercat” Bruner and Jameel Bruner (formerly of the Internet), and made during the sessions that produced Kamasi Washington’s The Epic. Triumph features Thundercat, Washington, Mac Miller, George Duke, and more.

Bleached: Can You Deal? EP [Dead Oceans]

Can You Deal? follows Bleached’s 2016 LP Welcome the Worms. Along with the EP, the band’s Jennifer Clavin has released a new zine that’s also called Can You Deal?. It features contributions from Paramore’s Hayley Williams, Liz Phair, Alice Glass, Tegan Quinn, White Lung’s Mish Way, Speedy Ortiz’s Sadie Dupuis, Julien Baker, EMA, and more. All proceeds from the zine go to Planned Parenthood.
