With so much good music being released all the time, it can be hard to determine what to listen to first. Every week, Pitchfork offers a run-down of significant new releases available on streaming services. This week’s batch includes albums from Mount Eerie, Mike WiLL Made-It, the Jesus and Mary Chain, Craig Finn, Diamanda Galás, GoldLink, and Kelly Lee Owens.
Mount Eerie: A Crow Looked at Me [P.W. Elverum & Sun]
Phil Elverum’s latest album as Mount Eerie is a tragic reaction to the death of his wife, artist Geneviève Castrée, who passed away from pancreatic cancer last summer. Elverum wrote and recorded the album last fall in the same room where she died, using mostly her instruments. Mike WiLL Made-It: Ransom 2 [Ear Drummer/Interscope]
Mike WiLL Made-It’s new album is the sequel to 2014’s Ransom. It features Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Young Thug, Rae Sremmurd, Chief Keef, and many others. Watch the video for “Gucci on My,” featuring 21 Savage, YG, and Migos, and read the track review of “Come Down.”
The Jesus and Mary Chain: Damage and Joy [ADA/Warner Music]
Damage and Joy is the first album from the Jesus and Mary Chain in 18 years, following 1998’s Munki. It was recorded with producer Youth (who also contributed bass) and features performances from the band’s touring drummer Brian Young and former Lush bassist Phil King. Craig Finn: We All Want the Same Things [Partisan]

Diamanda Galás’ two new albums follow 2008’s Guilty Guilty Guilty. All the Way features new versions of traditional and jazz standards.
