A Sunny Day In Glasgow Share “Shut Your Mouth, It’s Christmas” From New Christmas Classics Tape
Geographic North has announced a cassette series called Sketch for Winter, featuring four tapes from four different artists, all exploring winter themes. Distribution will be limited to 300 cassettes per release, and will run from December through March.
The first edition of the series features A Sunny Day in Glasgow. Check out the tracklist for Sketch For Winter I: New Christmas Classics, which comes out December 3, below. It includes a Mariah Carey cover. Listen to “Shut Your Mouth, It’s Christmas” above.
The second installment, out January 6, comes from Pan American and is called Rue Corridor. February’s release, Green Sleeves, is by Matt Lambert of the band All the Saints. The series concludes in March with Care Package, a release by Moon Diagrams, aka Moses Archuleta of Deerhunter.
