“Adventure Time: Islands” Miniseries Announced

“Adventure Time” will eventually come to an end, with episodes trickling out until 2018. Before it goes away, a new eight-episode miniseries called “Adventure Time: Islands” will air on Cartoon Network from January 30 to February 2. On January 24, all eight episodes will be available on DVD and on demand. In the miniseries, Jake and Finn will travel to “the Land of Ooo to embark on a quest of epic proportions across the ocean and into new lands,” a press release notes. Notably, the eight episode event will address one of the mysteries behind the series: “What happened to the humans?” Watch the opening credits sequence below. An “Adventure Time: Islands” graphic novel is also forthcoming.
