Arcade Fire, Nas, RZA Appear in the Lonely Island’s Popstar Movie
In the Lonely Island‘s new film Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, Andy Samberg plays an internationally famous pop star named Conner4Real. The film features several musicians, including Joanna Newsom, DJ Khaled, Questlove, Snoop Dogg, Usher, Adam Levine, Seal. Ahead of its June 3rd release, it’s been revealed that Arcade Fire‘s Win Butler and Régine Chassagne appear in the film, as well as Nas, RZA, Mariah Carey, A$AP Rocky (which the group discussed in an interview with Sway), Justin Timberlake, Danger Mouse, Ringo Starr, P!nk, and more. The Lonely Island recently detailed the Popstar soundtrack. It features Akon, Seal, P!nk, Emma Stone, and more. It also includes the previously shared “I’m So Humble” (featuring Adam Levine), “Mona Lisa,” and “Finest Girl (Bin Laden Song).”
