Saxophonist Colin Stetson and Arcade Fire violinist Sarah Neufeld have teamed up for a collaborative album, Never were the way she was. It’s out April 28 via Constellation. They’ve also shared “The sun roars into view”, which you can check out above.
Additionally, they’ve also announced a tour that kicks off in April. Check out the dates below. Neufeld will also be touring by herself and supporting St. Vincent.
Read an interview with Stetson and Neufeld from 2013, about their work together on the Blue Caprice soundtrack. Stetson’s last album was 2013′s New History Warfare Vol. 3: To See More Light. Neufeld’s last release was last year’s Black Ground EP.
