Ariel Pink and Puro Instinct Cover Rexy’s "In the Force"

This Friday (March 18), Samantha Urbani (Blood Orange collaborator, formerly of Friends) will launch her new label, URU, in conjunction with Lucky Number. The label’s first release is a reissue of Running Out of Time, the 1981 album by British pop duo Rexy. Ariel Pink and Puro Instinct teamed up to cover Rexy’s “In the Force”; you can hear it below via Gorilla vs. Bear, along with the original version. Limited copies of the album will come with a bonus disc featuring the Pink/Puro Instinct cover, plus Urbani’s previously-shared “Alien” cover and cover by Connan Mockasin.
