Ariel Pink and Weyes Blood Team Up for New EP
Ariel Pink and Weyes Blood have teamed up for a collaborative EP, Myths 002. It’s out January 27 via Mexican Summer, as Stereogum points out. The EP is being released in conjunction with Marfa Myths 2017, and is available through Mexican Summer’s “Early Bird Bundle” for the festival. Check out the tracklist and artwork below.
In 2015, Weyes Blood and Ariel Pink collaborated on a track by Mild High Club; they also worked together on Ariel Pink’s 2012 album Mature Themes. At Marfa Myths, Weyes Blood will perform new music with Perfume Genius.
In 2015, Mexican Summer released its first Myths EP. Devonté Hynes (aka Blood Orange) and Connan Mockasin collaborated for that three-song effort.
