Ariel Pink recently visited New York City’s P.S. 22 to chat and sing a version of “Jell-o”, from Pink’s forthcoming album pom pom, with the kids. Then, they teamed up with Pink to do “Picture Me Gone” (also from pom pom), with the kids singing the chorus and Pink doing the verses.

Later, Pink sat down for a question-and-answer session, including the very important question “why does white bread kill you?” (a reference to a line in “Jell-o”). When asked about the complexities of “Picture Me Gone”, he offered a lengthy explanation, finishing with a caution that one day “there might not be any hard photographs to share”. Check out video of the performances and interview below.

pom pom is out November 18. Read our Update interview with Pink.
