Ariel Pink Shares “I Need a Minute” From New Film Heaven Knows What

Ariel Pink has contributed a new song to the new film Heaven Knows What, which is out May 29 in New York and Los Angeles and throughout the country in June. Listen to “I Need a Minute” above. He also makes a cameo in the movie. 

The song will be released as a single digitally and as a 7″ soon. Pink created over 45 minutes of music for the film, but only one song was used.

Heaven Knows What, directed by Josh and Benny Safdie, is based on Arielle Holmes’ forthcoming memoir about heroin addiction, Mad Love in New York City. It stars Holmes and Caleb Landry-Jones. Pink was originally considered for the role that eventually went to Landry-Jones.
