Avey Tare Details New Album Eucalyptus

After teasing a new album via jigsaw puzzle, Animal Collective’s Avey Tare has detailed the project. It’s called Eucalyptus and it’s out July 21 via Domino. Find the tracklist and cover art below. Avey Tare’s Animal Collective bandmate Deakin recorded the album, which features contributions from Angel Deradoorian, Jessika Kenney, and Eyvind Kang. The deluxe 2xLP version of the record (pressed on 180-gram vinyl) comes with a lyric booklet featuring exclusive artwork from Paige Cleveland of Rule of Three Studio.

In 2014, Avey Tare released Enter the Slasher House with Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks. His last solo album was 2010’s Down There. Earlier this year, he shared the Slasher Flicks demo “Visit the Dojo” as part of the Our First 100 Days compilation. He was also on both of Animal Collective’s 2017 EPs, Meeting of the Waters and The Painters, which followed the group’s 2016 album Painting With.
