Axl Rose Injures Foot, Will Perform Guns N’ Roses Coachella Shows in a Cast

Guns N’ Roses just began their reunion tour last Friday with a show in West Hollywood, and Axl Rose is already hurt. He tweeted, “This is what can happen when you do something you haven’t done in nearly over 23 years,” and shared a video in which his foot doctor, Rachel Triche, explains that Axl fractured his fifth metatarsal–a bone in his left foot. He currently has plates and screws in his foot, and will be in a cast for the next four weeks. Dr. Triche confirmed, however, that the GNR set will accommodate Axl’s injury, and that he will perform in the cast (which sounds a whole lot like how Dave Grohl performed in a cast last July). That means their headlining Coachella stint, which begins next weekend, will feature the injured Rose. Watch the video below. Their North American summer tour begins in June.
