Baio (Vampire Weekend’s Chris Baio) Plans Debut Solo Album

Vampire Weekend‘s Chris Baio makes dance music under the name Baio. Now, he’s announced his debut album, which will be out this summer via Glassnote. He says the album contains “Bowie and Ferry-influenced pop songs and dumbsmart arena techno” in a press release. 

Previously, Baio released a pair of EPs: 2012′s Sunburn and 2013′s Mira. Most recently, he collaborated with the Very Best.
