Belle and Sebastian Share Unreleased Song "Paper Boat"
Belle and Sebastian co-founder and former member Stuart David (now of Looper) has shared “Paper Boat”, a previously unreleased B&S song written around the same time as 1998′s The Boy With the Arab Strap. The song is accompanied by a video directed by longtime B&S collaborator and Looper member Karn David, featuring footage of Stuart Murdoch and the since-departed Isobel Campbell on vacation in Aberdeenshire, Scotland in 1998. The song was released in anticipation of David’s new memoir of the band’s early days, In the All-Night Café, which is available May 1 via Chicago Free Press.
