Best Coast Announce Planned Parenthood Benefit Show Featuring Liz Phair, Wavves, More

Best Coast have announced “Don’t Sit Down: A Planned Parenthood Benefit,” featuring performances by themselves, Veruca Salt, MUNA, Wavves (doing a DJ set), and more. It also includes a “special appearance” by Liz Phair. The show takes place at Los Angeles’ El Rey Theatre on March 4. Find tickets here.

“Planned Parenthood is a cause I have always cared about so much. They were there for me when I needed them, and I want to be there for them when they need me,” Best Coast leader Bethany Cosentino said in a press release. “I am so thankful to have been able to rally together an amazing lineup of artists to be involved in this, and I can’t wait raise some much needed money for Planned Parenthood together.” Tickets go on sale Thursday. Earlier today, Wavves’ Nathan Williams announced that he is seeking a billboard space to put up insane drawings of Donald Trump, to help benefit organizations like the American Civil Liberties Union and Planned Parenthood.
