Big Boi Announces New Album Boomiverse, New Songs With Adam Levine, Killer Mike, and Jeezy

Big Boi has announced the title of his third solo album. The follow-up to 2012’s Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors is called Boomiverse. It’s “Coming Soon!” according to a teaser clip. In addition to the title, Big Boi has revealed that he has two new tracks on the way. One features Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, and the other is with Jeezy and Killer Mike. The former is called “Mic Jack,” and it’s set for a 12:30 p.m. Eastern premiere on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show tomorrow. The latter is called “Kill Jill,” and is available tomorrow night, according to Big Boi’s Instagram.

Big Boi’s last LP was his 2015 collaboration with Phantogram, Big Grams. He has a rich collaborative history with Mike, most recently appearing with him as rapping foxes on HBO’s “Animals.” Coincidentally, he hopped on a remix of Maroon 5’s “Animals” in 2014.
