Big Boi, Killer Mike, Jeezy Team For New Song “Kill Jill”: Listen
Big Boi’s next album, the follow-up to 2012’s Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, is called Boomiverse. It’s due in June via Epic. He already shared “Mic Jack,” his new single featuring Adam Levine, earlier today. Now, he’s offered another new one. Listen to “Kill Jill,” his collaboration with Killer Mike and Jeezy, below via Apple Music. Big Boi’s representative confirmed to Pitchfork that “Kill Jill” samples a song by the virtual Japanese pop star Hatsune Miku. At one point on the track, Big Boi references Bill Cosby: “They say Cosby gave ‘em roofies/now who knows what the truth is.” Big Boi and Killer Mike previewed it at a show last month.
The song is the latest of several collaborations between Mike and Big Boi, who worked together on tracks by Big Grams, Run the Jewels, OutKast, and more. On April 24, Big Boi will perform “Mic Jack” on “The Tonight Show.”
