Big Star’s Career Chronicled in New Photo Book

Big Star have announced an authorized photo book chronicling their entire career, compiled from various photographers over the years and featuring many rare and “previously unseen” photographs. BIG STAR – Isolated in the Light will be available in two formats: limited edition hardcover (limited to 500 copies) and the Signature Edition, which comes with two posters and an unpublished, signed print by rock photographer Michael O’Brien. Assembled by graphic designer Fabrice Couillerot and photographer Donna Ranieri, the book features interviews with selected photographers, as well as an interview with Big Star drummer Jody Stephens. The book is out October 14 via First Third Books. Earlier today, it was announced that Big Star’s album Third would be re-issued in a box set titled Complete Third.
