Björk Appears as Amazing Live Avatar to Open London Exhibition

This morning, Björk opened the London leg of her Björk Digital exhibition in spectacular fashion. From Iceland, she appeared at the London press conference as a live avatar, which mirrored her movements using motion-capture technology. In an accompanying statement on Facebook, Björk introduced the exhibition—which features several VR videos for songs from Vulnicura—saying, “technology is enabling women to work outside the already formed hierarchical systems.” In the footage below, you can see Björk’s avatar discuss goths and utopia.
