Bobby Caldwell and Jack Splash Team as Cool Uncle, Share "Break Away" Featuring Jessie Ware

Bobby Caldwell is a soul singer best known for his 1978 song “What You Won’t Do for Love”, which has covered by Jessie Ware, Boyz II Men, Junior Boys, and others. (His music was also sampled by J Dilla on Common’s “The Light.”) Jack Splash is a producer whose credits include records by Kendrick Lamar, Missy Elliott, Alicia Keys, and many others. Together, they’re Cool Uncle, and their debut self-titled album is out November 13 via Fresh Young Minds. Listen to their single “Break Away”, which features Ware, above.
