Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Pay Tribute to Glenn Frey With "Take It Easy" Cover

On last night’s date of “The River Tour,” Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band paid tribute to the late Glenn Frey, who passed away on Monday. As Billboard points out, they played a cover of his Eagles classic “Take It Easy” in Chicago. Watch fan footage below.

As Billboard notes, Springsteen also covered the song on stage with its co-writer, Jackson Browne, last September.

Last week, Springsteen and the band covered David Bowie’s “Rebel Rebel” in honor of the late icon.
