Busta Rhymes, A Tribe Called Quest, and Leaders of the New School Perform "Scenario" Remix

Busta Rhymes hosted Hot 97′s Hot for the Holidays concert in New Jersey last night. Among the performers were Lil Wayne, Fetty Wap, Mary J. Blige, Rick Ross, Jeremih, Puff Daddy, and more. Busta also brought out A Tribe Called Quest members Q-Tip, Phife Dawg, and Jarobi White, as well as members of his old group Leaders of the New School, for a performance of the “Scenario” remix. Busta also performed Leaders of the New School’s “Case of the P.T.A.” with Charlie Brown and Dinco D.

Busta has performed the original “Scenario” with Tribe in the past. In 2012, he, Q-Tip, Phife Dawg, Charlie Brown, and Dinco D did the song at the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival. In 2008, he played it with just Q-Tip at the Knitting Factory.

Busta Rhymes and Q-Tip released a collaborative mixtape, The Abstract and the Dragon, in 2013. Tribe recently reissued their 1990 album People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm for its 15th anniversary. They also reunited to perform “Can I Kick It” on “Fallon”.
